In plain language
Be respectful, honest and kind. Ask sincere questions, don't share other people's private information, and remember that answers come from named scholars, not from other users.
Where these rules apply
Questions sent to scholars, feedback and reports, and any community features we add in the future (such as study circles).
Please do
- Ask sincere questions and assume good intentions.
- Respect differences between the madhabs and between scholars.
- Keep other people's private information private.
- Report mistakes in the content with a source if you can.
Please don't
- Insult, mock or threaten anyone, or use hateful language about any group.
- Declare other Muslims disbelievers or attack their faith.
- Share personal details about yourself or others that don't belong in a question.
- Post spam, advertising or links to unrelated sites.
- Pretend to be a scholar, teacher or another user.
What we do
We may remove content, limit features or suspend accounts that break these rules. Serious issues, such as threats or risk of harm, may be reported to the authorities.
