Delete Your Account

In plain language

You can delete your account and all your data yourself in about a minute: Profile → Settings → Delete account.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open Ulamat and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile → Settings.
  3. (Optional) Tap Download my data to keep a copy.
  4. Scroll to the account section and tap Delete account and all data.
  5. Confirm. Your account and all its data are deleted straight away.

What is deleted

Your account and email, settings, progress, scores, streak, bookmarks, check-ins, journal notes, questions you sent, push subscriptions and invite link.

What may remain

  • Answers that scholars published are kept without any link to you.
  • Information we must keep by law, if any. TODO: lawyer to confirm.
  • Backups are overwritten within TODO: backup retention period.

Anything left in your browser

Signing out clears this device's copy of your progress. To remove what the browser still caches for offline use, clear the site data in your browser settings.

If you can't sign in

Use the contact form with the topic Privacy or data request and the email address of the account. We will verify that the request comes from you before deleting anything.
